Charitable Act is hosting a Princess Party! Join your favorite princesses for a holiday tea party. Enjoy snacks, do some crafts, and get into the holiday spirit. All proceeds will benefit our 2019 summer camps, where we will be putting on a production of Shrek, Jr.!

 

~FAQ~

 

~Who will be running the event?~

A strong team of high school volunteers, college students, and teachers will be dressing up as your favorite princes and princesses. All of our volunteers have experience working with kids in an imaginative environment, and several of them have CPR/First Aid training. There will be a 1:2 teacher to student ratio, ensuring that every prince and princess gets the royal treatment!

 

~How will the event work?~

You should arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled starting time to say goodbye to your prince or princess and prepare them for their day of fun! Attendees will be broken up into smaller groups and rotate through a number of stations in order to get more quality time with each princess! Some of these activities include princess makeovers, crafts, a snack, and archery lessons. After everyone has made it to each station, we will all come together for story time, and a quick dance lesson. Finally, your child will get to show off all of the moves  they just learned at a dance party with all the princesses!

 

~What should I do while my child is at the Princess Party?~

While your child is experiencing the magic, we encourage you to relax! Go do some holiday shopping and take a break!  We strongly encourage parents to drop off their little princes and princesses for the duration of the session, however, you are welcome to stay if you’d like. If you do choose to stay, we ask that you remain in the designated area we will have set up for parents. Again, our goal is for you to relax, so leave it to the princesses to handle everything!

 

~Will there be time for pictures with the Princesses?~

We suggest you arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled start time. During this time you will be able to start meeting all of the princesses and take as many photos with them as you’d like. We will not have time for any pictures once each session is over, however we will have a photographer in attendance, and you will receive all of the photos taken at the event via the email address you used when purchasing your ticket.

 

~Will a snack be provided?~

A snack (along with a princess etiquette lesson!) will be provided. Snack will likely consist of hot cocoa and cookies! If your child has food allergies, please make sure to indicate what allergies they have when signing up online and notify us when you arrive. We will try our best to accommodate any allergies we know of ahead of time, but if you would like, you are more than welcome to pack a snack from home.

 

~Are costumes welcomed?~

Of course! We want all of our party attendees to participate in the magic and feel truly royal!

 

~What age children are allowed?~

All children must be above the age of three and toilet-trained. Princesses don’t change diapers!

 

~How will you contact me if something goes wrong?~

When you purchase your tickets online, there will be a couple questions for you to fill out including any food allergies your child may have and a contact phone number in case of emergencies. Please be sure to include all of the requested information when signing up!

 

~Are boys welcome?~

We love princes just as much as we love princesses! We will even have a few guest Princes in attendance for any boys who dare to enter the castle!

 

~What princesses will be there?~

All of your favorite princesses will be in attendance from classics like Snow White and Cinderella to newer royalty like Rapunzel and the Island Princess!
